Heard Mr. Ananta Ramteke, learned counsel for the petitioner. 2. The petitioner has approached this Court seeking direction for expeditious disposal of the caste claim of the petitioner to the respondent No.2- Scheduled Tribe Certificate Scrutiny Committee, Gondia. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was appointed as Electrical Assistant on the establishment of respondent No.1 vide appointment order dated 06.10.2025. The aforesaid appointment order is at page No.14 annexure B. Since 2026:BHC-NAG:11524-DB 2 108 wp 6587.26.odt..odt the petitioner was appointed, under reserved category as the petitioner claims belonging to “Mana” Scheduled Tribe, the appointment order of the petitioner vide clause 16 specifically provided that the petitioner shall produce the caste validity certificate within six months from the date of his appointment. 4. Accordingly, the petitioner applied before the respondent No.2-Scheduled Tribe Certificate Scrutiny Committee, Gondia on 25.02.2026. On submission of his caste claim towards “Mana” Scheduled Tribe the acknowledgement of submission such application was issued by respondent No.2- Scheduled Tribe Certificate Scrutiny Committee, Gondia on 25.02.2026 which is on record at page No.19. 5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that even after passage of six months the respondent No.2 has not decided the caste claim of the petitioner and there is every likelihood that respondent No.1 shall terminate the services of the petitioner in view of the aforesaid clause No.16 of the appointment order and accordingly, the petitioner has approached before this Court. 6. Mrs. S.S. Jachak, learned AGP, upon instructions, submits that the respondent No.2-the Scheduled Tribe Certificate Scrutiny Committee shall 3 108 wp 6587.26.odt..odt decide the caste claim of the petitioner within three months. 7. In view of above, we dispose of the present writ petition as per following order:- (i) Respondent No.2- Scheduled Tribe Certificate Scrutiny Committee, Gondia is directed to decide the caste claim of the petitioner towards “Mana” Scheduled Tribe within stipulated period of three months from today. (ii) During the pendency of the aforesaid caste claim, respondent No.1 is directed not to take any coercive steps against the petitioner solely on the ground of non submission of validity certificate. (iii) The petitioner is directed to co-operate with the respondent No.2- Scheduled Tribe Certificate Scrutiny Committee, Gondia in expeditious disposal of his caste claim. 8.
