Petitioner is serving as Labour, Grade-I in Uttarakhand Seeds and Tarai Development Corporation. He was serving at Kashipur since 2023. By means of order dated 29.01.2026, he was transferred to Dhanauri, District Haridwar. Thus, feeling aggrieved, petitioner has filed this writ petition. 5. It is contended that petitioner’s children are school going who are to appear in the Board Examination commencing from 17.02.2026; it is further contended that petitioner is yet to complete three years at Kashipur, therefore, before completion of three years, he cannot be transferred to some other place. 6. Mr. Aditya Pratap Singh, learned counsel appearing for the Corporation sought time to get instructions. Today, on instructions, he submits that because of harvesting of Rabi crops, the workload has increased at Dhanauri Seeds Processing Plant in District Haridwar, therefore, on the request made by Seed 2026:UHC:796 Production Officer, Dhanauri, petitioner has been temporarily transferred to Dhanauri only for three months. He further submits that petitioner would be repatriated back to Kashipur on 15.05.2026. 7. Mr. Piyush Tiwari, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has been asked to vacate the official accommodation provided to him at T.D.C. Colony, Nagla (Pantnagar). 8. To this, learned counsel for the Corporation submits that since petitioner would be rejoining at Kashipur on 15.05.2026, therefore, petitioner will not be asked to vacate the official accommodation. 9. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of by taking the statement made by learned counsel appearing for Uttarakhand Seeds and Tarai Development Corporation Ltd. based on written instruction, on record.
