The supplementary affidavit filed by the petitioner be kept with the record after serving the copy to the learned counsel for the respondent/State. 2. The petitioner has filed an application under the Right to Information Act, 2005 on February 1, 2026 before the Special Public Information Officer, Directorate of Registration and Stamp Revenue, WEBEL Software Technology Park II Building, 4th Floor, DN- 53, Salt Lake City, Bidhannagar, Kolkata for certain information. 3. On receipt of the same, the SPIO by a communication dated February 24, 2026 directed the petitioner to visit www.wbregistration.gov.in to search for the required information and obtain a certified copy online. If the document is not available online, he may visit the concerned registration office where the deed was registered to obtain the necessary details. 4. The petitioner is aggrieved with the communication dated February 24, 2026 issued by the SPIO. If the petitioner is aggrieved with the said communication dated February 24, 2 2026, the petitioner is having an alternative remedy to prefer an appeal against the said communication dated February 24, 2026. 5. Thus this Court is not inclined to entertain the writ application. Accordingly, the instant writ application is dismissed. However, the dismissal of the present writ application will not prevent the petitioner for taking appropriate steps for filing an appeal, if any, against the communication dated February 24, 2026 issued by the SPIO. If the petitioner files any appeal against the communication dated February 24, 2026, the first appellate authority shall take appropriate decision in accordance with law. 6.
