This contempt petition has been filed by the petitioner under Article 215 of the Constitution of India under Section 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 alleging willful non-compliance of the order dated 11.07.2025 passed by this Court in WP(C) No. 3639/2025 stating that the appeal filed by the petitioner was not decided by the Sub-Divisional Officer (Revenue) within 45 days of its filing of appeal. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that appeal was filed on 28.07.2025, however, till date it has not been decided and therefore, there is violation of the direction passed by this Court. 3. Mr. Vivek Verma, Learned Government Advocate was directed to seek 2 instructions and status with regard to pendency of the appeal filed by Mr. Anand Kedia (petitioner in WP (C) No. 3639/2025) in pre-lunch session. 4. Mr. Vivek Verma, Learned Government Advocate submits that according to his instructions, the appeal filed by Mr. Anand Kedia was disposed of yesterday i.e. on 10.03.2026. 5. In view of the aforementioned facts of the case and the submissions made by learned Government Advocate, the contempt petition is dismissed.
