For Petitioner(s): Mr.C.Prakasam For Respondent(s): Mr.B.Pachaiyappan, Government’s Counsel ORDER This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to consider the petitioner’s representation dated 17.03.2026. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has made a representation dated 17.03.2026 before the respondent seeking issuance https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 27122 of 2026 __________ Page2 of 4 of patta in respect of subject land, since an assignment patta was issued in favour of petitioner’s father. However, the said representation was not considered, as on date. Hence, this writ petition. 3. Mr.B.Pachaiyappan, learned Government’s Counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondent and submitted that upon verification, it has come to light that the aforesaid assignment patta issued in favour of the petitioner’s father is bogus. Accordingly, he prays for appropriate orders. 4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record. 5. According to the Government Counsel, the assignment patta issued in favour of the petitioner’s father is bogus; hence, they are not in a position to issue a patta in respect of the subject land. Such being the case, this Court directs the respondent to consider the petitioner’s representation dated 17.03.2026 by issuing due notice to the petitioner and any other aggrieved parties, if any and to pass a speaking order within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
