(2) Petitioner was appointed as Assistant Teacher in Primary School run by Basic Education Board in the year 1984 and thereafter she was promoted as Assistant Teacher, Junior High School in the year 1999. She was thereafter absorbed in the cadre of LT Grade Teacher in the year 2010. According to petitioner, she was entitled for promotional pay scale w.e.f. 16.1.2022, but the said benefit was denied to her. Petitioner retired from service upon attaining age of superannuation in the year 2023. By means of this writ petition, petitioner has sought the following reliefs: “(I) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents to the respondents to grant the promotional pay scale of Rs. 5400/- to the petitioner and also pay the arrears thereof and to grant all consequential benefits thereof alongwith interest. (II) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents to consider and decide the representations of the Petitioner.” (3) Learned State Counsel submits that since petitioner has made representation and she has also sought mandamus to the competent authority to take decision on her pending representation, therefore, he has no objection if the writ petition is decided in terms of relief clause no. (II). (4) Writ petition is, accordingly, 2026:UHC:1506 disposed of with a direction to Regional Education Director, Pauri to take decision on petitioner’s representation, as per law, within four months from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order.
