No.14783 of 2026 2.The allegation against the petitioners is that due to property dispute, the petitioners attacked the defacto complainant and another with an Aruval and caused injuries to them. Hence, the present complaint has been registered. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that due to commercial dispute, there was a quarrel and and the petitioners also injured. However, they have not lodged any complaint. He further submitted that the petitioners are ready to cooperate with the investigation. Hence, he prayed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners. 4.The learned counsel for State of TN (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent Police reiterated the prosecution and submitted that though injured have already been discharged from the hospital, both the petitioners are having bad antecedents. The first petitioner has nine(9) previous cases and the second petitioner has six(6) previous cases. CRL OP(MD). No.14783 of 2026 5.Heard the learned counsel on either sides and perused the materials available on record including the First Information Report. 6.Considering the nature of the allegations and also the fact that the petitioners are having bad antecedents, if the petitioners are granted anticipatory bail, there is a likelihood of them indulging in similar offences. Hence, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners. 7.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
