Sharma and Mr. Nitin Tewari, learned counsel for petitioners. 2. Mr. N.S. Pundir, learned D.A.G. for the State of Uttarakhand/respondent No.1. 3. By means of the present writ petition, petitioners have challenged the order dated 11.05.2026 passed by Assistant Collector-First Class, Khatima, District Udham Singh Nagar, in exercise of power under Section 70 of the Uttarakhand Co- operative Societies Rules, 2004. 4. Learned State Counsel however submits that petitioners are not affected by the impugned order and by the impugned order it has been provided that Members of Committee of Management, whose deposit towards share in the co-operative society is less than Rs.1000/-, are ineligible to continue as Members. 5. He submits that petitioners are not Member of Committee of Management, therefore, their interest is not prejudiced in any manner by the said order. 6. This submission made on behalf of State is not disputed by petitioners’ counsel. 7. Since petitioners are not affected by the impugned order, therefore, they do not have locus to challenge the impugned order. 2026:UHC:3875 8.
