Petitioner’s late husband was serving as Driver in Uttarakhand Transport Corporation, who retired in the month of March, 2018; he died on 14.11.2020. 3. According to petitioner, certain benefits including arrears of 7th Pay Commission were not given to her late husband, therefore she has filed this writ petition seeking following relief: “To issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents to forthwith release the outstanding amount of 7th pay commission arrears in favour of the petitioner, details whereof is given herein below: Arrears of 7th Pay Commission (w.e.f. 01/01/2017 to 30/09/2017) (sanctioned but not paid) Total amount = Rs. 51,462/- (Approx) 4. Mr. Manish Kumar, Advocate holding brief of Mr. Ashish Joshi, Advocate appearing for respondents, on instructions submits that pending dues of 7th Pay Commission shall be released in favour of the petitioner positively within one month from today. 2026:UHC:3889 5. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with direction to Managing Director concerned to ensure that pending dues of late husband of petitioner are released in favour of the petitioner positively within one month from date of production of certified copy of this order.
