Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he is not pressing relief no. 1 at this stage, however, he submits that Assistant Collector, 1st Class, Haridwar may be directed to expedite the proceedings of Case No. 09 of 2013 (Sohan Lal and others Vs. State of Uttarakhand and others) at the earliest. Accordingly, relief no. 1 is dismissed as not press. 4. Learned State Counsel has no objection to it. 5. In such view of the matter, the instant petition is disposed of with the direction to the Assistant Collector, 1st Class, Haridwar to expedite the proceedings of Case No. 09 of 2013 (Sohan Lal and others Vs. State of Uttarakhand and others) as expeditiously as possible, preferably within two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. (Rakesh Thapliyal, J.) 15.05.2026 SKS
