Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner's daughter namely, Jamunadevi went missing from 29.06.2026. Despite the registration of the FIR in Crime No.41 of 2026 under the caption ''Woman Missing'' by the 2nd respondent police station, no action has been taken and thereby the petitioner has approached this Court. 3. Learned counsel for State of Tamilnadu (Crl.Side) would submit that based on the complaint given by the petitioner herein, a case in Crime No.41 of 2026 under the caption ''Woman Missing'' was registered by the 2nd respondent police. When the case was under investigation, on 15.07.2026, the detenue herself had appeared before the All Women Police Station, Sivagangai, and has given a statement that she has married one Balamurugan against her father's wishes and she has also sought for protection. Hence, the learned counsel for the State submitted that the detenue is not in illegal detention. 4. In view of the same, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
