Mr. Harshpal Sekhon, learned counsel for the applicant. 2. Mr. Tumul Nainwal, learned A.G.A. for the State. 3. The present applicant Chamkor Singh, S/o Jasvinder Singh praying for anticipatory bail since there is an apprehension of arrest as the police repeatedly calling him and also harassing him. He submits that in C.M. Portal one Neeraj Kumar make a complaint and on such complaint a preliminary inquiry is being carried out by respondent no. 2 C.O. Kashipur and under the garb of such preliminary inquiry petitioner is being harassed and also given threatening of arrest. 4. Mr. Tumul Nainwal, learned A.G.A. for the State on instructions apprise to this Court that as on date there is no FIR against the applicant, and, as such there is no apprehension of arrest and only a preliminary inquiry is being carried out by respondent no. 2 on the complaint made by Neeraj in C.M. Portal. He submits that while conducting preliminary inquiry no coercive action shall be taken against the applicant provided he cooperates with the investigation. 5. Mr. Sekhon, learned counsel submits that applicant will always cooperate with the preliminary inquiry but he may not be harassed unnecessarily. 6. On this, Mr. Nainwal, learned A.G.A. submits that he will advice the concerned I.O. not to unnecessarily harass the applicant and conduct the preliminary inquiry in a fair manner. 5. In such view of the matter, the instant anticipatory bail application is dismissed.
