The only prayer made in the present writ petition is for issuance of direction to respondent nos.2 and 3 to decide the petitioner’s application dated 31.12.2025 for grant of consent to establish / consent to operate within a stipulated period of time.

The submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that in-principle approval was granted to the application but, subsequently, it has been reverted back to the petitioner.

The petitioner on 08.01.2026 has submitted hard copies of pre-feasibility report and environmental management plan but the respondents have not taken any final decision on the application of the petitioner so far.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of respondent nos.2 and 3 states that the application will be decided within four weeks.

Having regard to the above, the writ petition is
disposed of with direction to respondent nos.2 and 3 to pass final order on the application of the petitioner dated 31.12.2025 within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of the instant order.
6.
Pending application, if any, also stands disposed of.
