1.
Heard learned counsel for the parties.
2.
The instant bail application has been preferred by the petitioner for grant of regular bail for the offences registered under Section 140(2)/3(5) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 in connection with Jariyagarh P.S. Case No.40/2025 pending in the Court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Khunti.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case. He further submits that petitioner is languishing in jail custody since 13.12.2025; as such, he may be released on bail.
4.
Learned A.P.P opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner and submits that there are specific allegations against the petitioner.

Having regard to the gravity of the offence and the allegation made against the petitioner and looking to the stage of trial, I am not inclined to enlarge this petitioner on bail at this stage; however, the petitioner may renew its bail application after three months.
