For Petitioner : Mr.D.Vijay Antony 1/4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis C.R.P.(MD).No.1628 of 2026 ORDER The Civil Revision Petition has been filed seeking a direction to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.8 of 2024 on the file of the learned Principal District Munsif Court, Kovilpatti, within the time stipulated by this Court. 2. It is seen from the typed set of papers that the petitioner filed a suit seeking a declaration that he and respondents 1 and 3 are the legal heirs of the deceased Velusamy Thevar. When the revision came up for hearing, my predecessor called for a report from the Trial Court. It is seen from the report submitted by the learned District Munsif, Kovilpatti, that the trial in the suit has already commenced and the evidence of PW1 is already over. The petitioner/plaintiff filed an application in I.A.No.3 of 2025 seeking to examine the Village Administrative Officer as a witness and the said I.A. is posted for enquiry. In the report, it is also stated that, if both the parties co-operate, the suit can be disposed of within a period of eight months. 3. Taking into consideration that the trial in the suit has already commenced and that the learned Trial Judge has sought eight (8) months time to dispose of the suit, this Court is inclined to direct the Trial Court to dispose of 2/4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis C.R.P.(MD).No.1628 of 2026 the suit in O.S.No.8 of 2024 as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of eight months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 4.
