4. The petitioners are the daughters of one Suresh, who worked as a Special Sub-Inspector of Police and he passed away on
02.03.2026. The petitioners suspect that the 5th respondent, their mother, in connivance with one Karthikeyan, is responsible for the sudden demise of their father. Therefore, the petitioners claim to have lodged a police complaint, but no crime has been registered as on date.
The petitioners also state that they have made a claim requesting the respondents to pay the terminal benefits of their father to them and not to disburse the same to the 5th respondent, on the ground that the 5th respondent is responsible for the sudden demise of their father. Since the representation dated 27.06.2026 has not been considered by the respondents, the petitioners have approached this Court by filing the present Writ Petition. 5. Mr.C.Jeganathan, learned Counsel for the Government of Tamil Nadu appearing for respondents 1 to 4, submits that the petitioners may be entitled to their share of the terminal benefits consequent upon the demise of their father, and that their representation would be considered by the respondents in accordance with law. 3/5 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
