(Oral) This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner on the premise that petitioner who was allotted a shop by respondent-Nagar Nigam, Haridwar being Shop No.23 Kalindi Market, Har Ki Pauir, Haridwar, made a complaint to the respondent no.3 that certain unscrupulous persons are running shops without authority in the Kalindi Market. 2. It is the grievance of the petitioner that the said complaint has not been taken note of by respondent no.3. 3. Per contra, learned counsel for respondent no.3, on instructions, submits that the complaint is being processed by respondent no.3 and the Committee is constituted vide order dated 16.03.2026 and shortly, report would be submitted. He further submits that in the order whereby Committee was constituted, the Municipal Commissioner has specifically mentioned that the report of the Committee shall be submitted within a period of 15 days from the date of the order passed by Municipal 2026:UHC:3687 2 Commissioner i.e. 16.03.2026. 4. Having considered the rival submissions of learned counsel for the parties and perusal of the record, this Court is of the opinion that the justice would be done to the petitioner if a direction is issued to the respondent no.3 to bring the complaint of the petitioner to a logical end within a period of three months from today. 5. Accordingly, present writ petition is disposed of by directing respondent no.3 to decide the complaint of the petitioner, in accordance with law, as early as possible, but not later than three months from today. 6. Pending application, if any, stands disposed of accordingly. 7. Let a certified copy of this order be issued to the parties today itself on payment of usual charges. (Pankaj Purohit, J.) 14.05.2026 AK
