On a perusal of the First Information Report, it can be seen that the de facto complainant, who is a senior citizen, was abused and assaulted by the accused and certain allegations were made against the Investigating Officer also. 3. When the matter came up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that the Investigating Officer has since changed and the new Investigating Officer will continue the investigation and complete the investigation in a fair manner. 4. In view thereof, considering the apprehensions expressed by the learned counsel for the petitioner, let the investigation proceeded swiftly and be completed at an early date, in any event, not later than three months from the date of receipt of a web copy of the order.
