ORDER Date : 06-05-2026 (K.R.Surana,J) Mr. K. Angami, learned Senior Government Advocate on instructions has submitted that during the pendency of the intra-court appeal, the concerned authority, i.e, the Commissioner & Secretary to the Government of Nagaland (Works & Housing) Department in pursuance of the P&AR Department’s approval vide U.O. No. 16 dated 07.06.2026, had passed an
order that for retirement purpose, the date of joining for computation of length of service in respect of the respondent /Shri. Nungshimemen Ao would be 11.01.1993 instead of 26.02.1991. A copy of the said order dated 13.04.2026 has been produced and has been made a part of the record. Accordingly, the learned Senior Government Advocate submits that the matter has now become infructuous and the matter be closed as infructuous. Mr. C. T. Jamir, learned Senior Counsel assisted by Mr. Imchen,
learned counsel for the respondent no. 1 as well as Mr. Joshua Sheqi,
learned counsel for the respondent no. 2 are present.
