Case No. 296 of 2023 presently pending before the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate at Durgapur, Paschim Bardhaman. Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the application is admitted. It appears that the prayer made by the petitioner is innocuous and if it is disposed of in terms of the prayer made in the petition, the opposite party/State will have no cause to prejudice. As such, service of copy of application upon the opposite parties are hereby dispensed with. Since more than three years from the institution of the case has already been passed the prayer made by the petitioner is justified. Such prayer is required to be allowed for the ends of justice. In such view of the mater, the instant application being CRR 273 of 2025 is hereby disposed of with a direction upon the Court below to expedite the hearing of the aforesaid complaint 2 case and to make his best endeavour to conclude the entire proceeding preferably within a period of six months from the next date of hearing.
