ORDER The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 07.07.2026 for the alleged offences under Sections 310(2) of BNS Act and 4 of TNPHW Act @ Sec 4 of TNPHW Act and 310(2), 324(4), 329(4), 351(3) of BNS Act, in Crime No.211 of 2026 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

2. The allegation against the petitioner is that the petitioner along with other accused persons trespassed into the defacto complainant’s house, threatened him and the womens residing therein by alleging that they were running a brothel house and thereby took away 8 sovereign of gold ornaments and a sum of Rs.22,500/-. Hence the case.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case. He would further submit that the petitioner has been in judicial custody since 07.07.2026 and is ready to abide by any conditions that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he prayed for the grant of bail.
4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent, while opposing the grant of bail to the petitioner, reiterated the prosecution case and on instructions, submitted that the petitioner has ten previous cases and investigation is still pending.
5. I have given anxious consideration to the submissions made by the
learned counsel on either side.
6. Considering the submissions of the learned counsel on both sides and also the fact that the petitioner has ten previous cases and the investigation is https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
