Mr.B.Pachaiyappan, learned Government's counsel, takes notice on behalf of the respondents. 3. By consent of the parties, the main petition is taken up for disposal in the stage of admission itself. 4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, the petitioner filed an appeal dated 15.10.2025 before the 1st respondent, against the order dated 19.09.2025 passed by the 2nd respondent with regard to the classification of subject properties. However, the said appeal was not at all considered by the 1st respondent till date. Hence, this petition. 5. In reply, the learned counsel for the respondent would submit that the petitioner’s appeal will be disposed of within a period of 8 weeks and hence, he requests this Court to pass appropriate orders. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 27925 of 2026 __________ Page3 of 4 6. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the respondent and also perused the entire materials available on record. 7. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the 1st respondent to consider the appeal filed the petitioner dated 15.10.2025 and after affording sufficient opportunity, dispose of the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 6 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 8.
