Heard Mr. Avishek Prasad, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.
The petitioner is an accused in connection with Lapung P.S. Case No. 18 of 2025.
It has been alleged that the informant was waylaid by the miscreants and by committing assault upon him, they had looted the scooty and the mobile of the informant.
Submission has been advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has been implicated on the confession of the co- accused. It has been submitted that with respect to the recovery of the scooty and damaged number plate, separate case been instituted being Bero P.S. Case No.75 of 2025. Learned counsel submits that the petitioner is in custody since 02.09.2025 and charge sheet has already been submitted.
Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner and has submitted that petitioner has got five criminal antecedents.
Regard being had to the aforesaid facts, the petitioner above named is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class- XXIX, Ranchi in connection with Lapung P.S. Case No. 18 of 2025.
