The applicant, who is in custody since 12.09.2025, has approached this Court for grant of regular bail in connection with Barkatha P.S. Case No.112/2025, registered for the offence U/s 20(B)(ii)(c), 22(c), 29 of N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the court of Principal District & Sessions Judge, Hazaribagh. 3. Innocence has been claimed and participation in the trial has been assured. On the above basis, prayer for bail has been made. 4. On the other hand, learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail and it has been submitted that 39 Kg. and 500 gram of Ganja has been recovered from various hidden chamber of the vehicle and this applicant was driving the vehicle along with the owner. Thus, there is enough material, connecting this applicant with the crime. It is commercial quantity and mandate of Section 37 of the NDPS Act has to be followed. 5. In that view of the matter, I am not inclined to enlarge the applicant (s) on bail at this stage. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the applicant(s) stands rejected. (Rajesh Kumar, J.)
