This is an application filed by the Petitioner in the accompanying writ petition as applicant to implead the Opposite Party No.7 who was the first wife of the husband of the applicant as a party to the accompanying writ petition on the ground that the presence of the Opposite Party No.7 would be essential for effective adjudication of the dispute.
2. Mr. A. Ganguly, the learned counsel had further referred to
Page No.# 3/3 the order passed by this Court on 19.02.2026 and submitted that in view of the said order, the accompanying writ proceedings cannot proceed without the Opposite Party No.7 being arrayed as a party to the accompanying writ petition.
3. Taking into account the order dated 19.02.2026 as well as the dispute involved in the instant proceedings, it is the opinion of this Court that the presence of the Opposite Party No.7 to the dispute in hand is necessary for an effective adjudication.
4. Accordingly, the Opposite Party No.7 is arrayed as the Respondent No.7 to the accompanying writ petition.
5. The learned counsel for the Petitioner is directed to file a fresh Memo of Parties before the Registry of this Court within 7 (seven) days and the Registry shall on the basis of the present
order as well as the Memo of Parties, make necessary correction to the Cause Title of the accompanying writ proceedings as well as update the same in the CIS.
6. I.A. stands allowed.
