The petitioner is an accused in Cr. No.84 of 2026 on the file of the 2nd respondent police, for the alleged offences under Sections 351(2) and 324(5) of BNS, 2023 r/w Sec.3(1)(r), 3(1)(s), 3(1)(t) and 3(2)(va) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989(the Act). 2. In view thereof, the petitioner has prayed that his bail application be considered on the same day. Considering the provisions of the Act, the allegations and factual background, I am of the view that the prayer can be considered. However, the hearing of the bail application shall take place with due notice to the de facto complainant. 3.
