The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to receive and consider his online application dated 15.06.2026 submitted in Form CCAP, along with the prescribed fee, for the grant of an autorickshaw permit to operate within a radius of 30 kilometres from Yercaud Bus Stand, Yercaud, Salem District.
3. The petitioner states that the Government of Tamil Nadu has issued orders enabling the grant of autorickshaw permits upon receipt of applications. With the intention of obtaining a fresh permit, the petitioner submitted the above application. His grievance is that the application has not been considered by the respondent.
4. The learned Government Counsel, on instructions, submitted that the petitioner’s application would be considered and appropriate orders would be passed in accordance with law within the time that may be stipulated by this Court. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

Recording the said submission, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent to consider the petitioner’s application dated 15.06.2026 on its own merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
