This Criminal Original Petition is filed, praying to modify the condition imposed in Crl.M.P.No. 14257 of 2024 in Crime No.1319 of 2020. The learned Judicial Magistrate No.III, Vellore District while granting interim custody of vehicle bearing Regn. No.TN-23 CS 4333 has ordered the execution of bond by the petitioner, who is owner of the vehicle to the tune of Rs.8,00,000/-. 2. I have heard the arguments of learned counsel on either side and perused the records. 3. Considering the fact that the petitioner is a third party auction purchaser, who is not involved in the case and considering the nature of vehicle and the year of purchase, I am of the view that the amount mentioned in condition No.7(i) imposed in Crl.M.P.No. 14257 of 2024 on the file of learned Judicial Magistrate - III, Vellore shall be modified as Rs.1,00,000/- instead of Rs.8,00,000/-.
