1. Mr. Gaurav Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner.
2. Mr. Himanshu Sain and Mrs. Meenakshi Sharma, learned A.G.A. with Mrs. Rangoli Purohit, learned Brief Holder for the State.
3. By the instant petition the petitioner is praying for the following reliefs: i. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari quashing the impugned FIR lodged by the respondent no. 3 on 10.02.2026 registered as FIR No. 74 of 2026 for the offences punishable under section 3/5/11 of the Uttarakhand Protection of Cow Progeny Act, 2007, Police Station Bhagwanpur, District Haridwar (contained as Annexure No. 1 to the writ petition) qua the petitioner. From Page No. 11 to 16. ii. Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondent no. 1 and 2 not to arrest the petitioner and not take any coercive measure against the petitioner in pursuance to the impugned FIR dated 10.02.2026 registered as FIR No. 74 of 2026 for the offences punishable under section 3/5/11 of the Uttarakhand Protection of Cow Progeny Act, 2007, Police Station Bhagwanpur, District Haridwar (contained as Annexure No. 1 to the writ petition).

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is ready to surrender before the court concerned, however, he may be given some reasonable time to surrender.
5. Learned State counsel have not raised any objection.
6. In such view of the matter, the writ petition is
disposed of finally with the direction to the petitioner to surrender before the court concerned on or before 20.06.2026. Till then no coercive action shall be taken against the petitioner.
