The amount includes the Performance Security Deposit (PSD), Earnest Money Deposit (EMD), Additional Security Deposit (ASD), and the withheld bill amount for the work executed by the petitioner. 2. The petitioner is a Class-I Contractor who was awarded various works by the respondent. According to the petitioner, the works were completed satisfactorily, but the respondent has not released the balance contract amount or refunded the deposits made at the time of entering into the contract. 3. In view of the above submission, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondent to pay the petitioner Rs.49,51,517/-, after deducting any statutory dues, within four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
