Sandhawalia, Chief Justice (Oral) The present petition is regarding the custody of a Dog, namely “Snuggle”, between the petitioner and respondent Nos.7 and 8. 2. We are of the firm opinion that the present litigation is a misconceived litigation, being instituted by a Government servant with regard to the re-location of the dog. If the petitioner has such affection for the dog, he can adopt the dog and keep it with himself. 3. Resultantly, we dismiss the petition with costs of 1 Whether reporters of Local Papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 Rs.25,000/- to be recovered from the salary of the employee, who is a Welfare Officer, and be deposited with the H.P. High Court Bar Association Welfare Fund. 4. Faced with this situation, learned counsel for the petitioner states that he does not wish to press the present petition and prays for withdrawal of the same. 5. Accordingly, the petition is dismissed as withdrawn. 6. All pending applications stand disposed of accordingly. ( G.S.
