Mr.B.Pachaiyappan, learned Government's counsel, takes notice on behalf of the respondents. 3. By consent of the parties, the main petition is taken up for disposal in the stage of admission itself. 4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, the petitioner filed an application dated 20.03.2026 before the 1st respondent, requesting them to remove the petitioner’s vendor’s name from the patta, pertaining to the subject property. However, the said application was not at all considered by the 1st respondent till date. Hence, this petition. 5. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the respondent and also perused the entire materials available on record. 7. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the 1st respondent to consider the application of the petitioner dated 20.03.2026 and dispose of the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 8.
