The petitioner is before this Court seeking for the following reliefs: “(a) ISSUE a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 24-08-2016 (under Annexure-H to the writ petition) and consequently re-allot to the petitioner site No.1258 of Hnachya and Sathagally 'A' Zone, Mysore measuring 60'x40' forthwith and grant all consequential benefits. (b) ISSUE such other appropriate writ, order or direction as this Hon'ble Court deems fit to grant in the interest of justice and equity, including the award of costs of this writ petition.” - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:8092 WP No. 6839 of 2019 2. The grievance of the petitioner is that the site which had been allotted to the petitioner had been cancelled by the impugned order dated 04.08.2016. Subsequently, a representation had been submitted by the petitioner on 24.08.2016 which has not been considered by respondent No.2. 3. This Court has dealt with a similar issue in its order dated 07.03.2023 in W.P.No.3000/2016, taking into consideration the direction of the Hon'ble Apex Court. 4. In that view of the matter, I pass the following: ORDER i) The representation dated 24.08.2016 at Annexure-H, is treated as a revision petition, and respondent No. 2 is directed to consider the same and pass necessary orders in accordance with law. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:8092 WP No. 6839 of 2019 ii) The petitioner is also permitted to file such additional documents that the petitioner wishes to rely upon in support of the petitioner's case.
