This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a writ of mandamus commanding the respondents to take a decision regarding the revival and restoration of the post of Senior Assistant in A.N. Jha Inter College, Jaspur, District Udham Singh Nagar, and to permit the petitioner to take appropriate steps for the promotion of the eligible candidate, namely Shri Akhilesh Kumar Sagar, S/o Shri Lekhraj Singh, presently employed as Junior Assistant in A.N. Jha Inter College, Karanpur, Jaspur, District Udham Singh Nagar. 4. This Court, vide order dated 06.04.2026, directed learned State Counsel to conclude the inquiry within a period of four weeks so that an order regarding revival of the post could be passed by the respondent-State. 5. Today, instructions have been produced before this Court by learned State Counsel, and the same are taken on record. On the basis of said instructions, learned State Counsel submits that the post of Senior Assistant in the petitioner institution, namely A.N. Jha Inter College, Jaspur, District Udham Singh Nagar, has now been revived and promotion has already been granted to Mr. Akhilesh Kumar Sagar, S/o Shri Lekhraj Singh, to the post of Senior Assistant. 2 6. In view of the above, nothing remains to be decided in the present writ petition. Accordingly, writ petition is dismissed as infructuous, as the grievance raised by the petitioner has been redressed. 7. However, for the purpose of filling up the vacant post of Junior Assistant, petitioner–Committee of Management may initiate fresh procedure in accordance with law. (Pankaj Purohit, J.) 15.05.2026 AK
