JUSTICE HANCHATE SANJEEVKUMAR) Though the matter is listed for admission, with the consent of the learned counsel for the petitioner, it is taken up for final disposal. 2. This petition is filed under Section 24 of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908, praying to transfer the case in M.C.No.91/2021, pending on the file of Senior Civil Judge and JMFC, Anekal (Bangalore Rural District) to the Court of The Senior Civil Judge and JMFC, at Jamakhandi. 3. The petitioner and the respondent are wife and husband. As per the averments made in the petition, the respondent/husband has filed a petition under Section 13(1)(ia) of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, seeking dissolution of marriage before the Court of Senior Civil Judge and JMFC, Anekal (Bangalore Rural District). The petitioner/wife is presently residing at Jamakhandi. - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC-D:7 CP No. 100261 of 2024 4. Though both the petitioner and the respondent are employed, but considering the fact that the petitioner is a woman, it is difficult for her to travel to Anekal (Bengaluru) to attend the proceedings. It is further submitted that the parties have a child aged about 7 years, who is presently residing with the petitioner/wife. 5. Considering these factors, this Court is of the view that the case requires to be transferred from the Court of the Senior Civil Judge and JMFC, Anekal (Bangaluru Rural District), to the Court of Senior Civil Judge and JMFC at Jamakhandi. 6. Hence, I proceed to pass the following order. ORDER i. The petition is allowed; ii. M.C.No.91/2021 pending on the file of Senior Civil Judge and JMFC, Anekal - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC-D:7 CP No. 100261 of 2024 (Bangalore Rural District) is transferred to the Court of The Senior Civil Judge and JMFC, at Jamakhandi.
