1. Petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking following reliefs:

2 / 3 representation of petitioner dated 19.07.2022 for appointment and selection on the post of Lecturer (Commerce subject) in view of order dated 26.11.2025 passed by the Hon’ble Court in Writ Petition (S) No. 509/2025 and other connected writ petitions. 10.2 That, any other relief/order which may deem fit and just in the facts and circumstances of the case including award of the costs of the petition may be given.”

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner participated in the recruitment proceedings initiated by respondents in the year 2019 for appointment of Lecturer, Teachers, Assistant Teachers, on different cadres . Petitioner has submitted an application for his appointment on the post of Lecturer. However, when the name of petitioner was not considered, writ petition bearing WPS No.2283 of 2021 was filed which came for consideration along with other writ petitions on 12.07.2022 which was disposed off directing petitioner to submit representation to be decided by the authority within specified time. Petitioner also submitted representation on 19.07.2022. Representations of some of petitioners were rejected against which they have filed writ petition which came to be allowed vide order dated dated 26.11.2025. However, till date representation of petitioner was not considered and therefore a direction be issued to respondents No. 1& 2 to take decision on pending representation.

Learned counsel for respondents submits that as the petitioner is not pressing this writ petition on merit and only seeking a direction to take decision on his pending representation, she is having no objection.

4. Considering submission of learned counsel for respective parties, without entering into merit of case, this writ petition at this stage is
disposed off directing respondent No. 1& 2 to take decision on pending claim of petitioner in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a further period of 6 weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

Petitioner will be at liberty to submit fresh representation if he so desires with all supporting documents along with copy of order of this Court to be placed before concerned authority and if such representation is submitted, said representation shall also be decided within the time stipulated above.
