JUDGMENT : S.M. SUBRAMANIAM, J. The Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner is the appellant before this Court, who had instituted the writ petition challenging the order of the Appellate Tribunal dated 21.11.2014 in ATA.No.464(13) of 2013. 2. The writ Court has considered the issue relating to long delay in challenging the order passed by the Appellate Tribunal and dismissed the writ petition on the ground of delay and laches. The Appellate Tribunal, passed an order dated 21.11.2014 and the writ petition came to be instituted only in the year 2022, after a lapse of about eight years. 3. Thus, the writ petition has been rightly dismissed on the ground of laches and therefore, the present Writ Appeal also stands dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
