The present writ petition has been filed seeking quashing of Notice dated 21.04.2026 issued by respondent No. 2, by which the petitioner was granted fifteen days’ time to file his reply, along with evidence in relation to an inquiry being held against him on a complaint filed by one Rajat Kalra that the certificate, on basis of which the petitioner succeeded in getting appointment as Assistant Engineer in the Corporation, was not covered by the Government Order dated 06.10.2006 and, thus, his appointment was void. The petitioner has also prayed for a writ of mandamus commanding the respondents to grant him at least two months’ time to submit his reply.

Learned counsel for the respondent-Corporation states that the petitioner would be provided with copy of the complaint, the inquiry report and all other relevant documents within 48 hours.

Having regard to the said statement, we hereby provide that the requisite documents would be provided to the petitioner within 48 hours and, thereafter, the petitioner shall have two weeks’ time to file his reply. The respondent-Corporation shall be at liberty to pass final

order taking into consideration the reply and the evidence, if any, filed by the petitioner.

The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly.

Pending application, if any, also stands disposed of.
