This bail application has been filed on behalf of Basant Singh @ Basant Kumar Singh @ Basant Kumar who is in custody since 08.10.2025 in connection with Complaint Case No. 583 of 2020 for the offence registered under Sections 304B, 201 and 120B of the IPC pending in the Court of learned J.M. 1st Class, Giridih, is pressed into motion. Petitioner is the brother-in-law of the deceased and the husband of the deceased had already been granted bail by Co-ordinate Bench of this Court in B.A. No. 5295 of 2025. It is submitted by the learned counsel on behalf of petitioner that there is a delay of more than two months after the death of the deceased in filing of the complaint case which is basis of the case. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposed the prayer for bail. Under the circumstances, the above-named petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/-(Twenty-Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Court below.
