ORAL JUDGMENT
(PER: HON'BLE MRS. JUSTICE ANU SIVARAMAN)
Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side as well as the learned SPP appearing for the respondent- State.
2. We have also interacted with the alleged detenue who was produced by Sri Shamanna, PSI, Sri Srinivasa G., ASI and Smt. Jamuna, WPC 229.
3. The alleged detenue has clearly informed us that she is neither under any illegal detention nor missing. It is submitted that she has gone away from the company of the petitioner on her own volition and does not intend to return to the petitioner's house. She states that she is otherwise employed and is looking after herself and has not made any threat to commit suicide.
4. In the above view of the matter and in the light of the clear statements given before us by the alleged detenue, we are of the opinion that there is no illegal

detention involved in the matter. The alleged detenue is staying apart from the petitioner on her own volition. Therefore, writ petition (Habeas Corpus) is closed.
