Koley … for the WBSEDCL The grievance of the petitioner is directed against a final order of assessment dated 22nd April, 2025. It is submitted on behalf of petitioner that they have already deposited 50 per cent of the aggregate dues as a condition for obtaining bail. In respect of the remaining amount, the petitioner prays for liberal installments in view of his financial condition. On behalf of WBSEDCL, it is submitted that they have no objection if the remaining amount be paid in liberal installments. In view of the above, WPA 26528 of 2025 stands disposed of by directing the petitioner to pay the balance 50 per cent amount in three equal installments commencing from 5th March, 2026 and the remaining on the 6th April, 2026 and 5th May, 2026. It is made clear that in default of any one installment, WBSEDCL is at liberty to 2 disconnect the line to the above premises. The connection shall be restored upon payment of the first installment.
