It is the contention of the petitioner that the petitioner was granted 2 acres of land in Survey No.4 of Seebi Agrahara Village, Kallambella Hobli, Sira Taluk, - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:24345 WP No. 14103 of 2026 Tumkur District, in the year 1987. It is contented that saguvali chit as found at Annexure-A was also issued in favour of the petitioner. However, the name of the petitioner has not been entered in the revenue records. 3. The writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to respondent No.4-Tahsildar, Sira Taluk, to verify the records and find out if an order of regularisation was passed by the Committee on 09.07.1996 and whether Saguvali chit was issued in favour of the petitioner on 10.07.1987. If it is found from the records that the facts stated hereinabove are true, then the Tahsildar shall proceed to mutate and enter the name of the petitioner in the revenue records, after collecting the necessary fee if not paid. The entire exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
