Case No. 09 of 2025 for the offence registered under Sections 20(b)(ii)(C)/29 of the N.D.P.S. Act pending in the Court of learned Judicial Commissioner-cum-Special Judge, Ranchi, is pressed into motion. It is submitted by the learned counsel on behalf of petitioner that intermediate quantity of 06 Kg. Ganja is alleged to be seized from the conscious physical possession of this petitioner and that he has no criminal antecedent. Learned A.P.P. opposed the bail petition. It is submitted that 25 Kg. Ganja was seized from four persons, who were conjointly involved in the trafficking of contrabands. Bail application of similarly situated co-accused persons has already been rejected by the co-ordinate Bench of this Court. Under the circumstance, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner, is hereby, rejected. It is submitted that the petitioner has suffered accident and his hand is in badly injured condition. Jail authorities will take steps for appropriate treatment of the petitioner.
