1. The petitioner claims higher scale of pay on account of enhancing his educational qualification. The legal representation made on behalf of the petitioner is pending consideration before the respondent authority.
2. Without entering into the merit of the claim of the petitioner, the instant writ petition stands disposed of by directing the District Inspector of Schools (Secondary Education), Barrackpore to consider and dispose of the petitioner’s prayer seeking higher scale of pay in accordance with law after giving reasonable opportunity of hearing to all the necessary parties for production of documents in support of their respective stand.
3. Steps shall be taken in the matter at the earliest but positively within a period of twelve weeks from the date of communication of this order.

4. A reasoned order shall be passed and communicated to the petitioner.
5. If the prayer of the petitioner is allowed, then necessary consequential steps shall be taken by the respondent authority.
6. The writ petition stands disposed of.
7. All parties shall act on the basis of a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
8. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon compliance of necessary formalities.
