HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC-D:505 WP No. 106227 of 2025
THIS WRIT PETITION, COMING ON FOR PRELIMINARY HEARING, THIS DAY, ORDER WAS MADE THEREIN AS UNDER:
CORAM: THE HON'BLE SMT. JUSTICE LALITHA KANNEGANTI
ORAL ORDER The present petition is filed seeking the following prayer:
“i) Issue Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ or Order or Direction to Respondent to abide by the orders of this court and address the Annexure B in order to permit the Petitioner for restarting the circulation of monthly news paper “Olla Jagatu” in the interest of Justice and Equity.
ii) Issue any other Writ or Order or Direction that deems fit to be granted in these circumstances of the case in favour of the Petitioner and thus render Justice.
2. It is the contention of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that, in spite of an order that is passed by the Co-ordinate Bench of this Court on 22.01.2025, the respondent is not implementing the orders that are passed in W.P. No.104934/2024. It is also submitted that, respondents have sought a legal opinion for filing an appeal, if they file the appeal, they will contest the same. It is submitted that, this Court has to address this issue and direct the respondents.

3. If the petitioner is aggrieved by any of the inaction on the part of the respondent in not complying with the orders passed by this Court, for that, he cannot file another writ petition and the only remedy that is available to the petitioner is to file a contempt. This Court is unable to accept any of the submissions advanced by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. It is not for this Court to direct the respondent on how to act. If the respondent has failed to comply with the order passed by the Court, the petitioner is not remediless, however, such remedy does not lie in approaching this Court by way of a writ petition seeking the present reliefs. Accordingly, this Court is passing the following:
ORDER i. The writ petition is disposed of giving liberty to the petitioner to avail appropriate remedies available to him. ii. All I.As. in this writ petition shall stand closed. Sd/- JUSTICE LALITHA KANNEGANTI
