Mr. Naitik Bhatt, learned counsel for the petitioner. 2. The petitioner herein is the plaintiff of Original Suit No.561 of 2023, Vaibhav Uniyal Vs. Ankita Uniyal. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though the written statement has already been filed, but the respondent is adopting delaying tactics. The suit is pending since 2023 and pleadings have already been exchanged and even issues have also been framed. 4. The relief as sought appears to be innocuous. 5. Taking into consideration that the suit was filed in the year, 2023 and pleadings have been exchanged and issues have also been framed, therefore, the learned trial court have to make an effort to expedite the proceedings. 6. In such view of the matter, the present writ petition is disposed of finally with the direction to the learned Principal Judge, Family Court Dehradun to expedite the proceedings of the Original Suit No.561 of 2023, Vaibhav Uniyal Vs. Ankita Uniyal, as early as possible, preferably within six months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. 2026:UHC:4011 7.
