This Writ Petition is filed seeking the following relief:
“….to issue any appropriate writ, order or direction, more particularly one in the nature of writ of Mandamus and declaring the action of the respondents in not taken any action of representations of the petitioner, dated 31-07-2018 regarding the illegal and unauthorized construction by the respondent no.6 without any permission in the land to an extent approximately 160 sq. yards, Sy.No.44/2, situated at Kotharoomla area, Dorasanipalle, Proddutur Mandal, Y.S.R. District, as illegal, arbitrary, and contrary to the provisions of Gram Panchyat Act and consequently direct the respondents to demolish the illegal and unauthorized construction by the respondent No.6 in the land to an extent approximately 160 sq. yards, Sy.No.44/2, situated at Kotharoomla area, Dorasanipalle, Proddutur Mandal, Y.S.R. District and pass such other order…”
2. On the earlier occasions, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner, and the matter was adjourned from time to time. As there has been no representation despite repeated adjournments, the matter was posted to today under the caption 'for dismissal'. 3. Even today, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner.
On the other hand, the learned counsel appearing for Respondent No.6 submits that the dispute between the parties has been amicably settled before the Lok Adalat in Lok Adalat Case No.348350 of 2022, vide Award dated 07.05.2022, passed by the Lok Adalat Bench, Proddatur. A copy of the said Award is placed on record. 4. In view of the above, no further orders are required to be passed in the matter. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as in fructuous. There shall be no order as to costs. 4 SRK,J WP.No.1205 of 2019
