(2) Petitioner is serving as daily wager in Nagar Palika Parishad, Mussoorie since
2010. He is discharging duties against a Group D post of Attendant. The grievance raised by the petitioner is that his claim for regularisation and grant of minimum of pay scale is not being considered.

Learned Counsel for the petitioner relies upon judgment rendered by Hon’ble Supreme Court in the case of Jaggo v. Union of India, reported as 2024 SCC OnLine SC 3826, for contending that after serving for more than 15 years, petitioner has a right to be considered for regularisation.
(4) Mr. Bhuwant Bhatt, learned Counsel appearing for respondent no. 2 and 3, submits that petitioner has sought a writ of mandamus and he has also made a representation, therefore writ petition can be disposed of by directing the competent authority to take decision in the matter.
(5) Writ petition is, accordingly,
disposed of with a direction to Executive Officer concerned to take decision on petitioner’s representation, as per law, within six weeks from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order.
