ORAL ORDER
(PER: THE HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE M.I.ARUN)
The contempt petition is filed on the allegation that the interim order of this Court passed on 24.02.2025 in Writ Petition No.101454/2025 (S-DIS) has been disobeyed.
2. The interim order passed in the Writ Petition No.101454/2025 reads as under :
“Heard the learned counsel Sri J.S. Shetty appearing for the petitioner.
The challenge is to an order dated 31.01.2025 which terminates the services of the petitioner without even issuance of a notice to the petitioner on the score that she is a contract employee. Therefore, if the petitioner is not yet relieved from the service, there shall be an interim order of stay of the said order. If she is already relieved from service, it would remain subject to the result of the petition.
Issue emergent notice to the respondents.”
3. Affidavit has been filed by the accused, wherein they have stated that the complainant has been relieved on

03.02.2025 itself, because of which, the question of continuing the services of the complainant does not arise.
4. The aforementioned submission is seriously disputed by the learned counsel for the complainant and he submits that the complainant has never been relieved and respondents have made wrong submission. He further submits that complainant has taken up the said contention in the writ petition.
5. However, in the light of the affidavit filed by the accused, we are of the opinion that the contempt against the accused requires to be closed, reserving liberty to the complainant to take all contentions before the learned Single Judge in the writ petition and if it is held otherwise, the complainant will have the liberty to redress his grievance in the manner known to law.
6. For the aforementioned, the contempt against the accused is hereby dropped. Sd/- (M.I.ARUN) JUDGE
