No.13741 of 2026 Sections 296(b), 115(2), 118(1) & 351(3) of BNS Act, 2023, and Section 4 of TNPHW Act, in Crime No.315 of 2026, on the file of the respondent police seeks anticipatory bail. 2. The allegation against the petitioner is that the petitioner, who is the husband of the defacto complainant, attacked the defacto complainant with an aruval on the head and caused grievous injuries. Hence, the case has been registered. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is innocent and he has not committed any such offence as alleged by the prosecution and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He further submitted that the petitioner and the defacto complainant are husband and wife, had lived together peacefully for several years, and this is the first occurrence, and the petitioner is ready to co-operate with the investigation. Hence, he prayed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 4. The learned Counsel For State of TN (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police, reiterated the prosecution case, and on instructions, 2/4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis CRL OP(MD). No.13741 of 2026 reported that the injured sustained grievous injuries and she underwent treatment, and thereafter, she was discharged from the hospital and the investigation is at preliminary stage. Hence, he opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 5.
